Solo

Solo | This project was born from a conversation with Leonardo and Daniele at Tipoteca Italiana. As I opened drawers, explored, and listened, I absorbed their stories. Among the many drawers, I discovered a treasure: beautiful punches, left alone, without a “family,” carefully cataloged by letter. The idea of connecting these orphaned letters to people who feel alone translates into an alphabet of portraits, where each character becomes an individual with a unique identity.
Through fine lines, textures, and geometric shapes, typography intertwines with the silent stories of solitary figures, giving a soul to each letter. An expressive typography project where characters are not mere graphic symbols but visual elements rich in meaning.
The design plays with symmetries, patterns, and an aesthetic that recalls vintage and Art Deco, creating a dialogue between past and present, between writing and emotion.
